About us
The Blue Mountains Baseball and Softball Club is a not for profit community and family baseball and softball club offering organised training and competition for players aged 4 to adults with mens, ladies and mixed teams.
At our baseball and softball club, we value inclusivity and diversity. We believe everyone, regardless of age, gender, or skill level, should have the opportunity to play and learn the sport. As such, we offer training and games for players of all ages and genders.
Our club also places a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork. We believe these values are integral to the spirit of the game and help to create a positive and enjoyable experience for all players.
Our vision for the club is to create a welcoming and supportive community for all of our players, spectators and supporters. We strive to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone, from beginner to advanced players. We hope to not only help our players improve their skills on the field, but also to foster a love for the game and create lasting memories and friendships.

our history
The Blue Mountains Baseball & Softball Club has a storied history dating back to 1979 formed under the name Blue Mountains Baseball & Sporting Club, catering for Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Netball. In the early years, the club struggled to find its footing and consistently earn victories. However, with hard work and determination, the team eventually started to turn things around.
In 1986, soccer and netball demerged from the club and the name was changed to the Blue Mountains Baseball & Softball Club and we began to see more success on the field, thanks in part to the emergence of several talented players. The team made it to the playoffs for the first time in 1987, and then again in 1988 and 1989. While they fell short of the premiership in those early years, the team's progress was evident. 1987 saw our relocation from Tom Hunter Park to our now home ground, Lomatia Park, Springwood.
It wasn't until the mid-1990s that the Blue Mountains Baseball Club truly began to dominate the league. In 1991, they finally earned their first premiership, defeating their long-time rivals in a closely contested final. This victory sparked a run of success that would continue for the next two decades. Blue Mountains continues to put competative teams on the field in Baseball and Softball and we're looking forward to many years to come.
